Dr. John Schappert was born and raised in Rockford, Illinois. He graduated from the
University of Notre Dame as a double major with degrees in economics and pre-dental
studies. He then earned his doctorate in dental medicine at Nova Southeastern
University in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Dr. Schappert has always been fond of exploring
new places and meeting new people. He moved to Texas after falling in love with its
people and way of life. Dr. Schappert spends his free time playing competitive tennis,
skateboarding, spending time with friends and family, and listening to music.

Dr. Jonahan Jent is a dedicated and compassionate dentist based in Kingsville, Texas,
where they have been serving the community since 2022 at Family Smiles. Originally
from Fayette, Missouri, a small town of 2,800 people, Jonahan is the second oldest of
four with three sisters and values the importance of family.
After earning a Bachelor’s degree in Biology from Central Methodist University, Jonahan
further pursued their passion for healthcare by obtaining a Doctor of Dental Medicine
(DMD) degree from A.T. Still University Missouri School of Dentistry and Oral Health.
A firm believer in the importance of lifelong learning and patient care, Jonahan is
committed to delivering high-quality dental services to patients of all ages. Outside of
work, they enjoy reading, playing board games, and cherishing quality time with their
growing family, including four children and a fifth on the way.
